Santander Brazil Opens 1,500 Jobs in Technology Related Areas

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Santander Bank Brazil wants to attract talent to fill 1,500 positions. The institution is looking for high performance specialists in Technology, Data, Risk, Finance and Legal areas.

Most jobs will be in the technology team. According to a statement from the bank, the area was needed to adjust the operation to home office and provide online products and services to customers.

Santander is mainly looking for virtual architects and developers specialized in Web, Mobile, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and Cloud.

According to Vanessa Lobato, vice president of Human Resources at Santander Brazil, they are preparing to address a new reality after the pandemic. “It is still being designed, but it will undoubtedly require high performance and adaptability professionals”.

Interested parties can apply for the institution’s talent pool on the bank or Gupy’s job openings website.

For those wishing to start a career in technology, the bank also is also offering scholarships through the Santander Coders Program. There are 240 openings for mobile Android and IOS courses, with applications open until June 28th through the website.
