China Reports Zero Daily Deaths from Coronavirus for First Time

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The local government reported 32 new official coronavirus cases in the country, but all of them “imported,” in other words, without community transmission. The number of deaths among the Chinese remains at 3,331.

Since the beginning of the Coronavirus crisis, the country has had 81,740 cases. Records show 77,167 patients have been cured. New cases of contagion in mainland China have been dropping since March, but the country is facing a second wave of infections from citizens arriving from abroad.

The Hubei province, the initial epicenter of the epidemic, records 518 confirmed cases of current patients, 515 of them in the city of Wuhan. Of the total number of cases in progress, 184 are severe, 181 of which are in Wuhan.
