Coronavirus Cases in Rio Rise From 170 to 207, Says City Hall

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Rio’s City Hall reported that the confirmed coronavirus cases increased from 170 to 207 on Sunday, March 22nd, in the same 33 neighborhoods recorded on Sunday. The suspected cases have decreased from 175 to 169.

The Cidade de Deus community remains the only favela with a confirmed case of an infected individual, according to the latest update from Rio Covid-19’s City Hall panel.
