The action of a high-pressure system contributed to the heat in the city yesterday, with clear to partially cloudy skies and no rain. The winds were mild to moderate, and the temperatures increased from the previous day. The minimum temperature, 23°C, was recorded at 5 AM in the Alto da Boa Vista station.

According to the Rio Alert System, due to the intense heat and humidity availability, scattered rains were expected early last evening.

For Friday, January 31st, the forecast is for partially cloudy skies, with a maximum temperature of around 40°C.

The weekend will be mostly cloudy, with scattered rainfall forecast from Friday afternoon. From Saturday, February 1st to Monday, February 2nd, the forecast is for low to moderate rainfall at any time of the day, but the maximum temperatures will be above 34°C.
