Number of Extended National Holidays in Brazil Will Double in 2020

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The year 2019 is not yet over, but it is already possible to plan for the 2020 extended national holidays.

Unlike 2019, which had fewer holidays and some of them falling on weekends, next year will have many holidays falling on weekdays. In addition to the national celebrations, there will also be some regional holidays, so it is necessary to refer to each city’s calendar.

  2. Carnaval – February 24th to 26th – (Monday to Wednesday)
  3. Good Friday – April 10th – (Friday)
