Brazilian Wins Unprecedented Medal in World Boxing Championships

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The Brazilian boxer Bia Ferreira defeated Russian Natalia Shadrina on Thursday, October 10th, and secured an unprecedented medal for Brazil, by qualifying for the semifinals of the World Boxing Championship, which takes place in the city of Ulan-Ude, Russia. Therefore she ensures herself at least a bronze medal.
