SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL – What seemed like something in a distant future is a reality today. Nowadays, technological devices and mechanisms are already simulating human reasoning. And they go much further, expanding the ability to produce an analysis and understanding of issues that are inherent to humans.
This is called artificial intelligence (AI), which has been causing major changes in the industry, including the audiovisual area. It is now possible to see amazing solutions in content production, with algorithms processing texts, images, audio, and video.
The “31º Congresso de Tecnologia e Negócios de Mídia e Entretenimento da SET EXPO” (31st Technology and Media and Entertainment Business Conference of SET EXPO), the largest event of its kind in Latin America, features engineer Daniel Monteiro, R&D Manager of TV Globo, one of the main names in the areas of signal processing, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, computing, electronics, and IoT (Internet of things), to debate this new topic. He will moderate the panel “Artificial Intelligence for Audiovisual Production” held from 9:20 AM to 10:40 AM on August 28th.
The Conference expects to congregate 2,000 participants to attend over fifty panels and 200 lectures, and another 15,000 visitors to the show, coming from 38 countries to see the innovations of the 150 exhibiting companies, representing over 400 domestic and international trademarks. The event will take place from August 26th to 29th at the Pavilhão Vermelho e de Convenções do Expo Center Norte.
The program includes topics on radio and audio; AV contribution and infrastructure; innovation and disruptive technologies; content production; audiovisual and regulatory distribution and standardization.
