Marília Mendonça is Spotify Brasil’s Most Popular National Singer

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – It’s no secret that Marília Mendonça has conquered the hearts of Brazilians. The singer’s numbers on streaming platforms prove this, and this week she broke a record at Spotify Brasil and surpassed Anitta.

“Todo Mundo Vai Sofrer” is the single behind this achievement. The track, released by the singer in May of this year, completed 79 days at the top of the Spotify Brasil main charts and surpassed the hit “Ao Vivo e a Cores”, a partnership of Matheus & Kauan with Anitta.

Marília’s hit is ranked fifth among the most popular in the whole country, and it’s not long before she gets to the top of the list of national songs. Currently, Felipe Araújo’s song “Atrasadinha” holds this position.

DJ Calvin Harris, with “Blame”, leads the list of the most popular songs among Brazilians and the most popular at the top of the list.

Currently, Marília Mendonça has sixteen tracks in the Brazilian Top 200, the highest number of songs of any musician, and this only proves her favoritism. She is, in fact, the most listened-to Brazilian female artist in the history of Spotify Brazil.

The singer is also popular on YouTube Brazil, where she ranks first as the most viewed singer for 145 weeks. The video clip for “Todo Mundo Vai Sofrer” currently has over 160 million views and has been in first place for eleven weeks.
