LIVE:
Festival Arte Por Toda Parte @ Teatro PetroRio das Artes (Gávea) – Come to Gávea Shopping and see four diverse artists take their street jazz performances up onto the stage for one fun-filled evening.

You’ll be able to catch top class live jams from the likes of Zé Bigode Orquestra​, El Miraculoso Samba Jazz, Jazztopia,​ and Eduardo Santana.

The free performance starts at 8 PM with tickets available at the box office from 4 PM onwards.

PARTY:
Latin Party @ Pub Kriok (Lapa) – Every Wednesday night, if you want a party that’s going to give you bang for your buck, then you can’t go wrong with the Latin Party at Pub Kriok.

To whet your whistle, there’s open beer and caipirinha until midnight, with everyone being treated like a VIP until the clock strikes twelve. Three DJs will be pumping out the Latin hits including plenty of reggaeton, hip-hop, and carioca funk, so there’s no excuse not to have a great time on the dancefloor this Wednesday.

Tickets are between R$0-R$20, and the party starts at 11 PM.

LIVE:
Totonho & Os Cabra @ Audio Rebel (Santo Cristo) – For a stirring night of live Brazilian music, head down to Audio Rebel in Botafogo where Totonho & Os Cabra will be playing their wonderful mixture of samba, Cuban macumba, and the sounds of the Brazilian countryside.

The full band will be playing in support of their new album “Samba Luzia Gorda” — not to be missed if you’re a fan of contemporary Brazilian music.

Tickets are R$20, and the music starts at 8 PM.

Casa Momus (Lapa)
Run by two Italian expats, Momus is worth the visit for its interior design alone. Among this fancy bar’s highlights are its classic Bloody Mary (R$27), Pisco Sour (R$28), and Negroni (R$28).

Straight out of Paris, this boutique hostel and bar has the perfect atmosphere for eating and drinking in style.

Flashback (Ipanema)
Flashback is a high-end restaurant with plenty of classical music and photos decorating the walls. Tonight, between 7 PM and 9 PM, the restaurant will offer a happy hour with two-for-one on caipivodkas and Stella Artois. The caipivodkas are made fresh with lime, strawberries, or passionfruit as well as additional herbs for extra taste.
