Jazz na Rua Larga @ Beco das Sardinhas (Centro) – Come down to the atmospheric and historic Beco das Sardinhas for some free live jazz which takes place every Tuesday evening.
You’ll be the guest of drummer Guga Pellicciotti, a Brazilian musician who has been putting on live jazz nights throughout the city since 2010, as he invites notable players from the local jazz scene to jam with him.
This free event begins at 6 PM.

Orquestra Sinfônica Brasileira @ Teatro Riachuelo (Centro) – Experience the beautiful sounds of the waltz with the “Orquestra Sinfônica Brasileira” (Brazilian Symphony Orchestra).
They’ll be playing four waltzes from Johann Strauss II, also known as the “King of the Viennese waltz,” and four waltzes from Russian maestro Tchaikovsky.
Tickets are available from between R$30 – R$70 and the evening begins at 8 PM.

Fill The Cup @ Terraço Lagoa (Lagoa) – If you’re a football fan, you can head down to Fill The Cup at Terraço Lagoa to see the Brazil vs. Venezuela game; and even if you’re not, there’s plenty of music and fun to be had before and after.
First, you can fill up at the premium open bar until 8:30 PM. Then, after the game, you can dance to DJ sets from TheBlackHaus crew, João Brasil, Tucho & Luckas, and John Failly & Marie Bouret until 4 AM!

Shake Speakeasy Bar (Centro)
Run by the award-winning barman and mixologist Walter Garin, Shake Speakeasy mixes some of the best cocktails in the city in an inspired “hidden” location. Located in a shopping center a few steps away from the equally innovative Curto Café, Shake Speakeasy Bar may be a little hard to find, but its thirties ambiance and competitively-priced drinks make the trip well worth.
