LIVE:
Sofar Rio @ Mystery Location (Botafogo) – Sofar Sounds presents the magic of live music through intimate shows put on in unusual environments.

It’s a unique event where participants can enjoy an experience full of good music, while also getting close to the musicians, discovering new places in the city, and experiencing real surprise in the comfort of a crowd of like-minded people.

Sofar Sounds does secret surprise shows. They do not release the identity of the bands or performers before the event. The address of the location is only revealed 48 hours prior to the event and only to confirmed participants.

This Sofar Sounds event will be starting at 7 pm in the neighborhood of Botafogo, with three to five bands or artists playing a set of around twenty minutes each. Tickets start from R$44.

PARTY:
BUZZZ @ Pink Flamingo (Copacabana) – Tonight, BUZZZ will be electrifying Copacabana at the brand new Pink Flamingo club, where DJs will spin the best of the eighties, nineties, and beyond without leaving out the big tunes of today.

The line-up for tonight is as follows: DJ Vino, DJ Cléo Azure (Queens O Concurso) and DJ Heitor Mota (Mamata).

The bar will open at 6 pm with BUZZZ kicking off at 10 pm. Entry is free all night long.

Mundo Lingo @ Jungle Garden Pub (Botafogo) – Mundo Lingo, the language exchange event, happens tonight at the Jungle Garden Pub. The group meets every week to chat, meet new people, and practice speaking other languages.

“There will be flag stickers from over 150 countries and regions. Your native language goes at the top. The rest follow in order of ability, with the weakest at the bottom. It’s open to all nationalities and languages and you can talk about anything you like. You don’t have to be an advanced speaker, or even speak a second language – it’s for all levels!”

This event is free and starts at 7 pm.

Blue Agave (Ipanema)
Located just around the corner from Posto 9, Blue Agave in Ipanema is well known for great Mexican food, drinks, and for broadcasting live sports. Additionally, most of the wait staff and crowd speak English.
