MÚSICA BRASILEIRA:
The 11th Anniversary of Bar da Dona Onça (Centro) – A true bohemian pearl encrusted in São Paulo’s downtown area, Dona Onça will be celebrating its 11th year of existence tonight.

Starting at 5PM, the free event will include a number of Brazilian music attractions, including members of São Paulo’s notable samba schools Camisa Verde and Vai Vai; the Pernambuco Afro-Brazilian band Afroxé Ogbon Obá; Rio’s Nanana da Mangueira, and more.

The bar will be serving a special menu tonight with both seafood and feijoada, both vegan and traditional.

PARTY:
Escuro (Centro) – Another edition of the Escuro party will take place in downtown São Paulo this evening.

Afro music lovers looking to dance to a delightful merge of Afrobeat and Afro-Brazilian sounds until 2AM should not miss this.

MÚSICA BRASILEIRA:
Conjunto Chora Cavaquinho (Vila Olímpia)Chora Cavaquinho will be performing the finest choro at All of Jazz.

The instrumental quintet will be playing standards from choro legends Pixinguinha, Jacob do Bandolim, Waldir Azevedo, and others.

Chora Cavaquinho is made up of musicians Roberto Cavalcanti (solo cavaquinho); Jean Francisco (center cavaquinho); Erick Morais (seventh chords guitar); Altair Radiuc (sixth chords guitar); and Marcos Madeira (tambourine).

Empanadas Bar (Vila Madalena)
They claim to have served the first Chilean-Argentinian empanadas in Brazil. We don’t know about that, but their empanadas sure taste original. Established in the heart of Vila Madalena in the 1980s, the bar’s combination of pleasant atmosphere, great draft beer and delicious empanadas of endless flavors make it a must-visit.

Bar Brahma (Centro)
One of the oldest bars in São Paulo, the seventy year-old Bar Brahma is a reference when it comes to the city’s bohemian scene. It’s famous for its tremendously cold beer, nice finger food, and live Brazilian music.
