LIVE:
Samba Que Elas Querem @ Ilha da Gigóia (Barra da Tijuca) – This looks set to be a picturesque event. A live ‘roda da samba’ (samba circle) with Samba Que Elas Querem, on the beautiful river island Ilha da Gigóia, with great food and refreshments to boot.

After the live performance, DJ Cyro Novello will play the best of samba rock, sambalanço, samba, pop, mangue beat, forrózinho, and plenty of other hits to get the crowd moving. There will also be a barbecue with vegetarian options and pizza.

This event will begin at 4PM and entry is free until 6PM, after which it costs R$10.

PARTY:
Bloco Das Poc @ Gamboa 345 (Gamboa) – Another post-Carnival bloco party for anyone trying to forget that the biggest party in the world is over.

The line-up for this party includes Jessica Lucas (Mais Glitter Pfvr) Tom Mauza (Treta) Duda Olïve (Manda Nudes) and Gui Ferrera (Eclética).

This event is set to begin at 3PM and entry is free.

LIVE:
Allbrazz Jam @ Museu Da República (Centro) – This live performance will contain in it two sets of live music. The first set will see the Allbrazz Quartet presenting instrumental versions of some classic songs. Plus, for the second set, they will enact one of their famous jam sessions with the musicians and friends present.

This event will take place in the beautiful gardens of Catete Palace, a truly precious piece of carioca history. All are welcome and anyone who brings an instrument can take part in the jam session.

Starting at 4PM, this event is free.

Blue Agave (Ipanema)
Just around the corner from Posto 9, Blue Agave Ipanema is also known for its mostly English-speaking staff and the international crowd which frequents the establishment. Be sure to check out Blue Agave in Copacabana also for a great night out.
