PARTY:
Encerramento do Carnaval do Teles @ Arco Do Teles (Centro) – Sunday is the last day of the city’s incredible Carnival schedule. More than twenty blocos passed through Arco do Teles and Rua do Mercado, bringing so much joy to the streets of Rio.

This Sunday, Arco Do Teles will be summoning some of the best DJs from the best parties in Rio to play a free party for everyone to bid farewell to the biggest party on the planet.

This is a free event and it will begin at 2PM.

LIVE:
Allbrazz Jam @ Museu Da República (Catete) – This live performance will contain in it two sets of live music. The first set will see the Allbrazz Quartet presenting instrumental versions of some classic songs. Plus, for the second set, they will enact one of their famous jam sessions with the musicians and friends present.

This event will take place in the beautiful gardens of Catete Palace, a truly precious piece of carioca history. All are welcome and anyone who brings an instrument can take part in the jam session.

Starting at 4PM, this event is free.

PARTY:
Cortejo “Mais Carnaval, Menos Ódio” @ Aterro do Flamengo (Flamengo) – This is a bloco that will be promoting the message, ‘More Carnival, Less Hate.’ It is by its very nature extremely inclusive and invites everyone to join the procession, with costumes, banners, and musical instruments.

‘Rio is made up of many rhymes, and we need them all!’ Is the message of this parade.

This bloco should be beginning at 7PM near the Boteco Belmonte and it is free to join.

Blue Agave (Ipanema)
Just around the corner from Posto 9, Blue Agave Ipanema is also known for its mostly English-speaking staff and the international crowd which frequents the establishment. Be sure to check out Blue Agave in Copacabana also for a great night out.
