We have the top three picks for this Tuesday, and below there is a list of bars and lounges that are always a good option.

PARTY:
Amigos da Onça @ HUB RJ (Santo Cristo) – This is another exciting pre-Carnival party with the participation of Bloco Amigos da Onça. There will be a complete rehearsal for the biggest party in the world, plus DJs and much more!

The night will feature a test run from Bloco Amigos da Onça and Bloco 442, as well as DJ sets from DJ Yasmim Vilhena and DJ So Lyma.

Tickets are between R$15-R$20 and the party gets started at 8PM.

DRINKS:
Mundo Lingo @ Jungle Garden Pub (Botafogo) – This Tuesday is the third meeting of Mundo Lingo. They call themselves a ‘huge community of locals and internationals that meet every week to chat, meet new people, and practice speaking other languages.’

‘There will be flag stickers from over 150 countries and regions. Your native language goes at the top. The rest follow below in order or ability towards the weakest at the bottom. It’s open to all nationalities and languages and you can talk about anything you like. You don´t have to be an advanced speaker, or even speak a second language – its for all levels!’

Happy Hour is from 7-9PM with a two-for-one offer on caipirinhas. This event is free and starts at 7PM.

PARTY:
Dobradinha @ Fosfobox (Copacabana) – This Tuesday, one of the best nights at one of Rio’s most famous clubs are inviting Carol Soares and Igor Kelner, two DJs who are guaranteed to bring the huge tunes and fill the dancefloor.

There will, of course, be all the usual deals, such as free pizza, two-for-one on Jagermeister, promotions on caipirinha and Heineken, and plenty of hits courtesy of the Dobradinha team that are sure to get everyone enjoying the summer season with a big smile on their face!

Tickets are between R$20-R$50 and the night should get going at 11:30PM.

Blue Agave (Ipanema)
Located just around the corner from Posto 9, Blue Agave in Ipanema is well known for great Mexican food, drinks, and for broadcasting live sports. Additionally, most of the wait staff and crowd speak English.

Dida Bar e Restaurante (Tijuca)
Specialized in Afro-Brazilian and African food, Bar da Dida is a great option for authentic, soulful food one cannot find in any corner. Make sure to try one of its finger food that have already participated in the “Comida di Boteco” contest.
