LIVE:
Earthless, Mars Red Sky e Psilocibina @ La Esquina (Lapa) – For the first time in Brazil, the cult American power trio of psychedelic instrumental music, Earthless, will be playing live, in the wildest nightlife district of Rio, Lapa.

This is an extra-special line-up which includes two other great bands: three bands in one night! Directly from France, the trio Mars Red Sky will return to Brazil for four tour dates, but only one of them in Rio de Janeiro on this night of high psychedelic sounds. To close this mighty set, the beloved Psilocibina will be representing the Brazilian instrumental counter-cultural scene.

PARTY:
Ninguém Solta a Mão de Ninguém @ Casa da Matriz (Botafogo) – Join DJs, musicians, producers, artists, visual artists and lovers of art and culture for this special event at Casa da Matriz. Children are welcome!

There is a huge line-up for this event, including: Freeda Baile, Marginal Men, DJ Saddam, Rodrigo S. (Wobble), Túlio Baía (Tupiniquim), Puff Puff Bass, Lili Prohmann (Disritmia | Brazilian Music), Dj Rafa Canholato (Funk the Chic), TSFN (Manie Dansante / Grotto), DJ Suirá (SwingS), Elisa Amaral (Copacabana Palace), Carla Ferraz (My Light is Led), Look (SHEEP). Plus there will be performances by XX Circus Show, and visual art courtesy of VJ Vini Fabretti and Miguel Rondow.

The event starts at 5PM and it’s free for everyone.

LIVE:
Guarjiro Pimienta @ Mississippi Delta Blues Bar (Gamboa) – The first edition of ‘Mississippi de portas abertas’ (Mississippi open doors) arrives this Sunday with lots of Latin and Caribbean music. There will be quality live music led by the guys from the band Guarjiro Pimienta, including all the best salsa, merengue, Cuban and Colombian music to get everybody dancing.

There will also be plenty of giveaways, special drinks offers, a pool table, and a DJ set after the live band. This is another free event, which only asks for a voluntary contribution to the musician’s hat and that you purchase your drinks at the Mississippi Delta Blues Bar, the main supporter of the evening, which kicks off at 5PM.
