The Rio Times, Nightlife Guide, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Nightlife, Bars, Clubs, Parties

We have the top three picks for this Tuesday, and below there is a list of bars and lounges that are always a good option.

LIVE:
Cria @ Manouche (Jardim Botanico) – CRIA is the monthly project that opens this Tuesday in Manouche, the underground club of Casa Camolese. On the stage, a composer talks to the journalist Leonardo Lichote, from Globo (creator of the project together with the programmer of the house, Alessandra Debs) about the act of creation.

The conversation is interwoven with songs from both the guitar and the piano, and they will show some of their compositions to illustrate their theories, to provoke them, to give new meaning to them. The guest of the premiere is Adriana Calcanhotto, with her poetic works that stir the brain and heart. Currently on tour with the show “A Mulher do Pau Brasil”, Calcanhotto will talk about the dialogue her work proposes between high culture and low, in a conversation that will also pass through her formation in Porto Alegre and her most recent compositions.

Tickets are between R$30-R$60 and the night begins at 9PM.
