LIVE:
Roda de Forró @ Centro Cultural Carioca (Centro) – This Sunday, October 14, there will be another special edition of Roda de Forró at the Centro Cultural Carioca.

The leader of the show tonight is singer and accordionist Benício Guimarães. With over 42 years in music, five LPs, eight CDs and more than 500 recorded songs, Benicio brings all his experience to the stage of Roda de Forró and sings hits that have already been recorded by artists like Jackson do Pandeiro, Os 3 do Nordeste and Marinalva.

Dj Xeleléu will then be providing plenty of songs to take the night into the morning. This is going to be an unmissable evening of classic Brazilian music. Tickets are R$10-R$25 and the night begins at 7PM.

PARTY:
DNA Social Club @ Barzin (Ipanema) – DNA Social Club is one of the best and most reliable parties to head to for a Sunday that continues the weekend spirit on into the week.

There’s a contemporary Brazilian restaurant on the ground floor and a bar for anyone wishing to start their evening early. Then, from 9PM, the second floor lounge opens up, where you can have a good drink while listening to some excellent deep house to get you into the mood for the rest of the night.

From 11PM onwards, the party will continue up at the third floor, with a totally covered and air-conditioned dancefloor, to the sound of the best tunes and with wonderful lighting and always excellent DJs that will ensure you’ll be dancing until dawn.

The second floor DJ is DJ Romulodias, then on the third floor there’ll be sets from DJ Rogério Mussel Júnior, DJ Gael Augusto, DJ MV Marcus Vinícius Russo, and DJ Afonso Feijó.

LIVE:
Glue Trip: “Sea at Night” @ Aparelho (Centro) – This Saturday and Sunday there will be a launch show for the release of “Sea at Night”, Glue Trip’s new album, at Aparelho.

“Sea at Night” is Glue Trip’s newest unreleased album, which hit digital platforms on September 21st. Their set is sure to include new singles such as “Time Lapses,” “Between Jupiter and Mars” and “Honey” as well as other hits like “Elbow Pain” and “La Edad Del Futuro” (The Age of the Future).

Tickets are R$30 and the show starts at 7PM.

Glue Trip: “Sea at Night” – Praça Tiradentes, 85 – Centro

Blue Agave (Ipanema)
Just around the corner from Posto 9, Blue Agave Ipanema is also known for its mostly English-speaking staff and the international crowd which frequents the establishment. Be sure to check out Blue Agave in Copacabana also for a great night out.
