LIVE:
Siba Convida Marcelo Jeneci @ Teatro Ipanema (Ipanema) – After a few years on the road touring his last album ‘Avanti,’ Siba will present a show featuring music from throughout his career.

The show will see Siba’s voice and guitar complement the drums and keyboards of Antonio Loureiro. In this special performance, a commemoration of the fifty years of the Teatro Ipanema, Siba welcomes the guest Marcelo Jeneci.

Jeneci was nominated for a Latin Grammy for ‘Best Album of Brazilian Popular Music of 2014.’ In the same year, he received the prize of the Paulista Association of Art Critics (APCA), in the category ‘Best Composer.’ He has written songs in partnership with Arnaldo Antunes, Zé Miguel Wisnik and Luiz Tatit.

Tickets cost between R$10 – R$20 and the night begins at 8:45PM.

PARTY:
Festa Bem Brasil @ Barzin (Ipanema) – The most traditional ‘Carioca’ party on a Tuesday brings live samba with the biggest hits from around the world in a party for those who still want to live up the weekend.

Marcelo Cebukin will be playing live saxophone, while DJ Haron Dufau will be spinning an eclectic set of hip hop, house, reggaeton and funk.

Tickets are between R$20-R$50 and there are double caipirinhas on offer until 1AM. The evening begins 11PM and won’t finish until 4:30AM. This is the perfect place to keep the weekend spirit going well into the week.

LIVE:
Bernardo Ramos @ Audio Rebel (Botafogo) – Bernardo Ramos arrives at Audio Rebel with his Quintet composed of Bruno Aguilar (bass), Rafael Rocha (trombone), Felipe Continentino (drums) and Beth Dau (vocals).

In the show, Bernardo presents the repertoire of his new album, which will be released next year by the label ‘Rocinante.’ His radical style of improvisation takes place within high density compositions and complex arrangements, inspired by Hermeto Pascoal and Egberto Gismonti, as well as the Minas Gerais music of the seventies and experimental jazz.

Tickets are R$20 and the night gets going at 8PM.

Located just around the corner from Posto 9, Blue Agave in Ipanema is well known for great Mexican food, drinks, and for broadcasting live sports. Additionally, most of the wait staff and crowd speak English.

Dida Bar e Restaurante (Tijuca)
Specialized in Afro-Brazilian and African food, Bar da Dida is a great option for authentic, soulful food one cannot find in any corner. Make sure to try one of its finger food that have already participated in the “Comida di Boteco” contest.
