We have the top three picks for this Friday, and below there is a list of bars and lounges that are always a good option.

PARTY:
Matriz Open Bar @ Casa da Matriz (Botafogo) – This is the tenth edition of Matriz Open Bar and it is already one of their most popular nights, with an open bar of Heineken, Gin and Tonics, Caipirinhas and Caipivodkas, soft drinks and water available all night long. There’s even more, with a fifty litre barrel of Kurumã IPA chopp (draft) beer.

On dancefloor one, the authentic Matriz rock tracks will be spun by the hands of star DJ Beto Artista, famous for the classic ‘Poison’ nights with a rock set full of tunes. Then, from 2AM, DJ Iggor Arehnds comes with plenty of anthems for people to remember their teenage years by and lots of pop and rock to dance and beat your head to at the same time.

On dancefloor two, DJ Lali Moss will be playing plenty of pop. Moss has the company of DJ Luana Paiva, a creator of the Casa da Matriz who will bring that funky carioca balance. And photos will be taken by Gabriela Garcez.

Ticket prices are between R$40-R$80 and the night gets going at 11PM.

Baleia are always aiming for something unique, and now they are launching a record in the form of an open work, where the album will be recorded in a continuous process throughout 2018 and 2019.

And to complete that night, Circo Voador invited one of the most prominent bands of the European psychedelic scene, the French band, Why Mud. Echoes of Radiohead, Air, Tame Impala and The Brian Jonestown Massacre feature strongly. After playing the COMA festival in Brasilia, they are finishing off their first Brazil tour with a debut at Circo Voador.
