Fernanda Santanna convida Anderson Primo @ Leviano Bar (Lapa) – Fernanda Santanna has been taking up a residence every Monday at Leviano Bar, one the most famous musical venues in Lapa.

Santanna promises an eclectic repertoire of classic Brazilian music, going through different genres, from samba to rock, from bossa nova to northeastern music, from Tropicália to Clube da Esquina, while touching upon jazz, pop and even African music in her own modern style.

The public is invited to sing, dance and experience the essence of Brazilian live music without barriers.

The guest of the night is the singer, songwriter and actor Anderson Primo, who has played in many bands and in various genres, including samba, bossa nova, rock and MPB.

The night begins with a happy hour at 7:30PM and will be divided into three sets with Anderson Primo taking the stage at 9PM. Tickets are R$10.

Chefe Gordo @ Ganjah Lapa (Lapa) – Rio rapper Chefe Gordo will be celebrating the relesase of his 2018 album ‘Bril.’ This is going to a be a wild night of hip-hop with one of the city’s up-and-coming talents.

The new Ganjah Lapa is made up of four floors, an expanded stage, three bars and a state-of-the-art sound and cooling system .

The show starts at 8PM and tickets are available at the event – their current price is undisclosed.

PARTY:
Os ensinamentos da Sarrada @ Caipi 373 Bar (Lapa) – Another week and another Monday ready for you to jump into the Sarrada System party in Lapa.

To get you in the mood, the first caipirinha is on the house!

There will also be four DJ sets, featuring plenty of zouk as well as popular pop hits, funk, kizomba, bass, trap and even Lebanese fusion – guaranteed to keep the dancefloor pumping.

The party will be in Lapa’s newest space, #CAIPI373. The house is a cool space to dance, with a great sound system, friendly service and drinks prices which are among the most affordable in Lapa.

The night starts at 9PM and tickets are from between R$10-R$20.

LOUNGES, BARS & PUBS:

Winehouse (Botafogo)
Winehouse is a wine bar run by a British expat that has brought an eclectic range of wines to Rio including a mix of fabulous national wines and international favorites. There is also a great selection of nibbles and cheese boards. For those who aren’t too keen on wine, there is plenty of beer and cocktail options too. Happy hour begins at 6PM and finishes at 8PM.

Pavão Azul (Copacabana)
Pavão Azul is a lively bar in Copacabana, famous for its exceptionally cold beers and prawn pastels. It gets crowded there every night, making every day of the week seem like the weekend.

Blue Agave Copa (Copacabana)
As well as great drinks and authentic Mexican food, the Blue Agave bar in Copacabana is one of the best places to watch live sports. Make sure to check out the original Blue Agave located in Ipanema also.

With classic pub games like darts and pool, Ipanema’s Shenanigan’s is always a great spot to visit. Monday to Friday, Happy Hour is from 6PM to 8PM and Mondays are half-price steak nights starting at 8PM.

Nosso (Ipanema)
Located in a charming house at Maria Quitéria Street, its sophisticated drinks and dishes are undoubtedly worth a try. You will also enjoy Nosso if you are a rum lover: their rum drinks, with labels from Cuba and Jamaica, are the house specialties.
