We have the top three picks for this Saturday, and below there is a list of bars and lounges that are always a good option.

PARTY:
Bloco Saymos do Egyto @ Espaço Rampa (Botafogo) – Here comes a little bit of early Carnival magic on behalf of Bloco Saymos do Egyto.

This should be an unforgettable night with a performance from the band DIZAÊ. Then there will be wonderful DJs playing the best songs of axé, funk, pop, MPB, regaaton, hip hop and the classic Brazilian Carnival rhythms, besides a fair of gastronomy, fashion and crafts.

A mini festival for Saturday! With a full line-up including DJ Kennya Rosa, DJ Chloe Van Damme, DJ Gui Serrano, DJ Marvitto, DIZAÊ, and New Kids On The Bloco.

The night begins at 9PM and tickets are R$10.

LIVE:
Playing For Change Day @ Smoke Lounge (Tijuca) – Playing For Change Day Toma Rock is a counterpart of the program Toma Rock Transamérica (101.3 fm), and is produced in partnership with the Smoke Lounge.

This night of music for charity will feature a live performance from Ballet Underground, a DJ set from DJ Wagner Fester and entertainment from Bruno Azevedo in what should be a great night of rock!

Tickets are between R$10-R$15 and the night should kick off around 9PM.

PARTY:
Friends Party @ Teatro Odisséia (Lapa) – It’s almost the 24 year anniversary of the first showing from this hugely popular American sitcom.

To celebrate, Teatro Odisséia are launching an amazing FRIENDS-themed party the likes of which Rio de Janeiro has never before seen.

There will be breakfast for those who stay until the end! Karaoke, and not just ‘I’ll Be There For You,’ free stickers, face painting in the style of Mr. Rachel and Mrs. Ross, onstage twister and plenty more.

For music, there is a line up DJs including DJ Ian Garcez, DJ Ste Mograbi, DJ Guto Birth, and DJ Feijo. VJ Julio Himself will be projecting the best clips from all of the hit seasons.

Tickets are between R$10-R$45 and the party starts at 11PM.
