Jorge Drexler – Rio de Janeiro (Cinelândia) – Jorgre Drexler is one of the most prestigious Ibero-American artists in both Brazil and around the world.

Winner of the Oscar for Best Original Song in 2005 for “Al Otro Lado del Río” (from the film “The Motorcycle Diaries”), the Uruguayan singer returns to Brazil after three years to present his latest album, “Salvavidas de hielo.”

Tonight, Rio is privileged to have Jorge Drexler performing live at the Teatro Municipal.

Black Beatles Project (Lagoa) – Come along for a night of nostalgia with all the greatest Beatles hits spiced with a unique Brazilian touch.

The Banda Black Rio incorporates Brazilian rhythms with American jazz, soul, and American funk. They have performed worldwide and have always been received wholeheartedly by audiences globally.

LIVE:
Pietá + Relógio de Dalí (Humaitá) – Tonight, the bands Pietà and Relógio de Dalí are coming together to perform traditional Brazilian popular music with a contemporary twist.

Pietá (Frederico Demarca, Juliana Linhares, and Rafael Lorga) will perform songs like “Revenge of Cunha”, “Matador,” and “Funk Vermelho.” The trio, who are currently working on their new album, will also be presenting two new songs.

The quartet, Relógio de Dalí (Lourenço Vasconcellos, Pablo Arruda, Victor Ribeiro, and Yuri Villar) will perform songs such as “Flamingo” and “Corte”; skillfully combining percussion and the guitar.

Winehouse is a wine bar run by a British expat that has brought an eclectic range of wines to Rio including a mix of fabulous national wines and international favorites. There is also a great selection of nibbles and cheese boards. For those that aren’t too keen on wine, there is plenty of beer and cocktail options too. Happy hour begins at 5PM and finishes at 8PM.

Yndú Lounge (Leblon)
