Sunday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – This evening it is time for live jazz music in Rio’s most charming neighborhood as Jazz nos Descasados returns to Hotel Santa Teresa, at 5PM.

Musicians Widor Santiago (sax), Adaury Mothé (piano), Sergio Barrozo (double bass) and Roberto Rutigliano (drums) will gather this evening to perform a lively classy jazz show.

The show takes place at the Descasados Bar, from which the audience can appreciate one of Rio`s most beautifuls views.

One of the most hyped Carnival blocos among Rio’s youngsters, the Tambores de Olokun rehearses this afternoon at Aterro do Flamengo. The group plays, sings and dances Maracatu and other Afro-Brazilian rhythms.
