Tuesday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – The finest from American country music arrives in Ipanema tonight, with Cesar Lago and Leo Torresini paying tribute to American legends Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson.

Considered the true personification of the country music, the “Man in Black” Johnny Cash is notorious for his somber, sweeping voice, while musician, writer and activist Willie Nelson is famous worldwide for his impressive guitar skills.

Taking place at Delirium Tap House, at 7:30 PM, the show will bring a repertoire with Cash and Nelson’s classics, like “Hurt” and “On The Road Again”.

Jazz com Alma (Botafogo)
New Yorker singer Alma Thomas and band return to Teto Solar tonight, presenting a refined repertoire of jazz standards, seasoned with Brazilian music.

Located just around the corner from Posto 9, Blue Agave in Ipanema is well known for great Mexican food, drinks and for broadcasting live sports. Tonight they will have a two for one tequila night all night that includes all shots and margaritas. Additionally, most of the wait staff and crowd speak English.
