Sunday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – It is the last weekend of NFL Playoffs and some massive match-ups will keep the excitement high at the Blue Agave Ipanema. The early game (6:05 PM in Rio) will see the Atlanta Falcons face the Green Bay Packers in a battle for the NFC championship.
Next at 9:40 PM local time, the Pittsburg Steelers will face the New England Patriots for the AFC championship. It doesn’t get any better than this epic conference championship matchup, with these two legendary team legacies.
The Blue Agave in Ipanema will be showing games on four screens as well as the volume up with English language commentary. Drink specials and the best nachos in Rio will be on call, as well as friendly English-speaking staff and open air seating just around the corner from Posto 9.

Bier Fest Verão will enjoy the final day of its event, with or without rain. The location will continue to be held at Parque dos Patins, the same site as the cancelled Taste in Rio event. Bier Fest Verão will reunite a group of wonderful food trucks and eateries, locally-brewed and imported beer, wine, and live music.
