RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – To mark the beginning of the New Year, several venues throughout the city will hold exclusive parties with food, open bar and music all for a fixed price. Churrascaria Palace and Gabbiano Al Mare in Ipanema are among the upscale places that will grant guests with a fully catered for night.
On December, 31st Churrascaria Palace, widely recognized as one of the best churrascarias (Brazilian Barbecue restaurant) in Rio de Janeiro, will host a party from 8PM that will include its finest food of prime meats, sushi-bar, seafood, fish and a selection of impeccable desserts.
Drinks will include sparkling wine, 12-year-old whiskey, several wines, beers, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages too. DJ Marcinho will get the party started with a mix of lively music covering all genres.

Over in Ipanema, Gabbiano Al Mare will serve the New Year’s Eve dinner from 7:30 PM made by chef Romano Fontanive. Among the food choices are shrimp cocktail, roast beef with corn remoulade, a cheese mix, and a vegetable mix of heart of palm, green asparagus, purple onion, cheese from Minas Gerais and eggs. Hot dishes will include roasted turkey, roasted pig, fish ravioli, and shrimp in a champagne sauce, with dishes such as rice with lentils, farofa with citrus fruits, potatos, and risotto to accompany.
Panetone, rabanadas with doce de leite, apple strudel with vanilla sauce, coconut pudding, chocolate mousse and a fruit buffet are the highlights of the dessert menu. The Victoria Rio restaurant will hold its first New Year’s Eve party at the Jockey Club starting at 8PM and finishing the following day at 6AM. The night promises to be unforgettable with views of the iconic Christ the Redeemer and wonderful food, drinks and music lined up.
Drinks include 8-year-old whiskey, wines and beer, and chef Marcones Deus will prepare a delicious and varied menu. There will be main courses served throughout the night with a buffet of pizzas at 2AM. Later on, a breakfast buffet will be offered to close the party and begin a hearty 2017.
Music will include the band Eletra and DJ Rodrigo Setta. Food options include octopus and shrimp vinaigrette, cheese board and white fish to start with salad of quinoa and pomegrante seeds, Moroccan couscous, sweet potato terrine with octopus, stuffed and roasted tomates, roast beef, salmon with a fresh mushroom sauce, and duck rice, among others as a main.

Espaço 7zero6 will host a memorable event at the main restaurant, Capim Dourado in Praia Ipanema Hotel with unbeatable views over Ipanema and Leblon. The event starts at 8PM with a wide selection of food including haddock salad with potato and broccoli and fresh cheese crepes with marinated salmon for starters and honey-glazed ham with pineapple sauce, salmon with passion fruit sauce, turkey breast stuffed with nuts, dried fruits and raisin, baked cod and sushi.
After this banquet of luxurious food, guests will be taken over to Espaço 7zero6 where there will be live DJS, more food, a dessert station and an open bar of wines, beers, whiskeys, liquors and gorgeous cocktails.
