RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The world of beer will concentrate at Pier Mauá between October 12th and 16th, as Monidal de La Biere reunites over four hundred labels of beer across three warehouses. The event brings together international and national beers, simultaneously showcasing global brands whilst offering a unique experience for local flavor to take to the stage.
Mondial de la Biere gathers manufacturers, distributors and importers of craft and premium beer in a unique setting to expose new and old brands, creating an active hub for networking and business generating. Yet it’s not all about corporate interests; the event is also a way to provide entertainment and good beer for the tens of thousands of people expected to visit during the five-day event.
In addition to 120 stands with beer tasting of global and local beers, there will also be talk shows with industrial experts and professional, enhancing the networking opportunities and providing an informative series of lectures about beer, the event and various other topics.
There will also be MBeer Contest Brazil, which sees the best beers at the show evaluated by a panel of international and national judges, and judged by the audience, to compete to win the title of the best beer.
The event promotes and encourages the brewing production in Rio de Janeiro. Since the first edition in Rio in 2013, the number of breweries in Rio de Janeiro state have increased by 512%. A new beer that has been especially produced for the show is the TPM, a result of a partnership between Cervejaria Bierteria and Tiquira Guaaja, a spirit made from cassava. The blend of brandy and beer has created a strong, stout style beverage at 8.4% and a taste of chocolate.
The event will run from Wednesday, October 12th until Sunday, October 16th from 3PM and 11PM everyday. It will be held across warehouses 2, 3 and 4 at Pier Mauá.
