Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – It’s time for the best of big beat, baile funk, dancehall, rap, trap, gansta rave, passinho, and more as the Heavy Baile party returns to the popular CAVE club in Arpoador.
Started by Rio de Janeiro DJ and music producer Leo Justi and friends over two years ago, the Heavy Baile party has been going strong in the city and hosted two outside editions in São Paulo and Porto Alegre.
During the night tonight DJs Leo Justi, Dorly, Johnny Ice, Ulyverse and MC Tchelinho will spin and perform.

Audio Rebel Convida Curated by Chico Dub (Botafogo)
Tonight Audio Rebel in Botafogo will host the sixth of seven nights of the debut edition of Audio Rebel Convida. Curated by cultural producer Chico Dub, the series features performances of contemporary music, free improvisation, sound installations, dance performances and a discussion with Brazilian and international artists. Tonight the venue will present “Negativos e Positivos” (Negatives and Positives) a book preview and photo exhibition featuring the works of Mauricio Valladares. Additionally, a discussion lead by artists Raul Mourão and Chris Calvet will take place during the night.
