sundae tracksSunday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – The Sundae Tracks party returns to Casa da Matriz in Botago tonight.

Continuing to celebrate its final season this year, the well-known party tonight will, as always, feature DJ Melvin spinning the very best of rock and classics on the first floor.

Tonight the All the Rocker Ladies party will take over the second floor with DJs Beto and Ohana spinning the best of classic rock and Beyoncé.

Promotions will include two-for-one specials on caipirinhas and mojitos until 1AM.

Jazz no Morro (Cantagalo)
Today and tonight, the weekly Jazz no Morro event returns to Gilda in Cantagalo with Tudo é Jazz performing live. Additionally during the event, DJ João Santiago will spin the best of Brazilian music, pop, and classic rock during show intervals.

Marrero (Botafogo)
Tonight the band Marrero will perform live for the first time at Audio Rebel in Botafogo. Consisting of vocalist and keyboardist Anderson Kratsch, guitarist Estevan Sinkovitz, and drummer Felipe Maia, Marrero is known for their heavy, angry rock filled with dense riffs.

Tonight progressive folk metal band Korpiklaani will perform live at Teatro Odisséia in Lapa.

Once again making Sunday night more lively, the Soda party will return to Fosfobox in Copacabana tonight. DJs Thi Araujo, Marcelo Haubrich, Fernanda Fox, Felipe Malfoy, and Samantha Banks will spin the best of singles and hits on Stage A while DJs Ravanelly, Felipe Visant, Laryssa Albuquerque, and Vinny Motta spin the best of b-sides on Stage B.Promotions will include two-for-one specials on Screwdrivers for R$20 and #DrinkSoda (a drink with rum, soda, and mojito syrup) for R$10 each.

It’s time once again for the best of house, electro, and pop as the twelve-hour Duo party returns to Gávea’s chic 00 (Zero Zero) club. The nights usually start with DJs Fabiano Pax and Marcia Bertonni spinning on the deck beginning at 5PM with resident DJ Rafael Calventes, Dri Toscano and special guests following, spinnning inside on the dancefloor until 5AM Monday morning..

Roda de Samba and Football with Ballet 2 Passistas (Football) (Lapa)
Sundays are all about samba and soccer at Lapa’s Leviano bar. Every week beginning at 5PM the venue plays live games on their screens with samba dancers following the matches and the group Samba Di Buteco playing classics of the genre, including works by Arlindo Cruz, Zeca Pagodinho and João Nogueira, among others. Additionally, DJ Mukato will spin during show intervals.
