Thursday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – The final weekend of the 2015 edition of art, music, and technology festival, Festival Multiplicidade will begin tonight at Oi Futuro Flamengo with a live performance by French duo, 1024 Architecture.

The duo, consisting of Pierre Schneider and François Wunshel, will perform the audiovisual piece “Recession,” the third act of their trilogy “Euphorie, Crisis, Recession.”

1024 Architecture performed the second act, “Crise,” live in Rio de Janeiro during the 2013 edition of the VideoAtaq event.

Cabelo (Botafogo)
Tonight Cabelo returns to perform his new compostions live at Audio Rebel in Botafogo. Cabelo is known for combining funk, samba, rap, rhythm and poetry in unique ways. During the show tonight, Cabelo will again be accompanied by Domenico Lancellotti on MPC, Kassin on bass and Leo Saad on guitar and congas.

Tonight the Festival Multiplicidade begins its closing weekend with a performance by French duo 1024 Architecture at Oi Futuro Flamengo.

Tonight Bem Brasil Entretenimento will present the Girls Night Out party at the New Mariuzinn Copacabana. Caipirinhas will be free until 12AM and additional promotions will include two-for-one specials on beer, caipirinahs and Cuba Libre all night long. There will also be a premium open bar for women until 12AM. The Veneno party is back at Casa da Matriz tonight. For over ten years the weekly events, filled with good music and beautiful people, have helped start weekends early in Rio. Tonight will be no exception as DJs Tulio Araujo and Beto Artista will spin the best of rock and pop on the first floor and the Meninas Veneno will return to take over the second floor, spinning the best of unsigned hits during the night.

On Thursday nights the Praia Club is hosting the Shake u Party. DJs Jonathan K, E$$, and De Luca will spin the best of pop indie, house, funk, hip hop, trap, and Latin Rhythms during the night. The entrance fee will be free for women with their names on the list until 12:30 AM and there will be an open bar for women until 12AM. Caipirinhas will be free for men until 12AM. Additional promotions will include two for one specials on beer, caipirinha, and vodka plus energy drinks all night long.

JP Silva will start things off again tonight at 8:30 PM with the sounds of samba. Then at 10:30PM, singer Luiza Dionísio will perform songs from her album entitled, Devotion, as well as, sambas from Wilson Moreira and Luiz Carlos da Vila, among others.

Salsa and Forró Leviano (Lapa)
The Salsa and Forró party is back at Lapa’s Leviano bar tonight and that means it’s time to dance. The group Mano a Mano will start things off at 8PM with salsa and merengue on the first floor and later Marcelo Mimoso will perform the best of Forró on the second floor. Additionally, Lucas de Moraes and the group Belisco will perform and DJ Angolano will spin salsa and DJ Léo Araripe will spin forró during the night.

Clube 79 @ Saloon 79 (Botafogo)
On Thursdays in November Saloon 79 in Botafogo is celebrating rock with the Clube 79 party. Each week the band SeteNove (79) will perform the best of classic rock live and welcome special guests. Tonight for the first edition, Kadu Menezes, Bacalhau, Billy Brandão and Ricardo Abrahin will perform. Additionally, DJ Theddy-O will spin more of the best of rock during the night.
