Friday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – The German DjIng duo, Super Flu will spin live tonight during the Me Gusta party at Fosfobox in Copacabana.
Consisting of DJs Feliks Thielemann and Mathias Schwarz, Super Flu arrives in Rio tonight as part of a mini Brazil tour. Their first stop in the country was at 5uinto / Club 904 in Brasilia and after tonight they will go on to spin at São Paulo’s UP Club on Saturday.
The duo are known for their dancey electro which showcases their imagination and sense of humor. Their use of toy instruments in their music and nostalgic references hints at their playful nature. They are also known to continually reinvent themselves and their sound, always keep things fresh and the crowd dancing.
Additionally during the party tonight, Pedro Piu and Douglas Castro will spin in the subsolo (basement) with Super Flu while above at the Fosfobar, DJs Ferreti and André Menezes will spin as part of the BOOM Pro Arte party.

Tonight Pato Fu and Silva will perform live at Circo Voador in Lapa. Pato Fu is considered by many to be one of the most important bands of the national rock scene. They arrive in Rio de Janeiro tonight while touring in support of their recent release, Não Pare Pra Pensar. Additionally, singer-songwriter Silva will open the night. Accompanied by guitarist Rodolfo Simor and drummer Hugo Coutinho tonight, Silva will perform his works including songs from his sophomore album, Vista Pro Mar.
