oclusterSunday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Today the O Cluster fashion, food and arts fair returns for the second day of its special mini edition which is taking place in a house in the forest in Parque Nacional da Tijuca, São Conrado.

Twenty-six brands are participating in this edition of the event. Twenty of the brands will offer the best of fashion and design, including Anouk Bags, Benta decorations, Flow accessories, and Insecta Shoes. The remaining brands will focus on gastronomy and include Amélia Gastrô, Baguel Store, Doce Predileto, L’eclair, and Namasté.

Additionally during the fair artists Chloé Le Prunennec, Sebá Tapajós, Marcelo Eco, and Marcel Serrano will present their works and DJs Ícaro dos Santos, Andrei Yurievitch, Nado Leal and guests Penoni and Bruno Eppinghaus will spin.

Domênica @ Saloon 79 (Botafogo)
Tonight Saloon 79 in Botafogo will present another edition of the Domênica event with bands Limusine Carioca, Hallucinated Lucian’s Group, and Aura. Additionally there will be an exhibition of works by Pedro Arantes. DJs Ivan Cascon and Larissa Conforto will spin during the night.
Saloon 79 – House will open at 5PM, Banda de Garagem will perform at 6:30PM and Dahmari will perform at 8:30PM.

El Miraculoso Samba Jazz (Praia Vermelha)
Today, weather permitting, the group El Miraculoso Samba Jazz will return to Urca present another lively and free outdoor performance at Praia Vermelha. The group consists of trombonist Henrique Vaz, bassist Marcos Luz, drummer Gabriel Barbosa and guitarist Jefferson Moreira

O Cluster (São Conrado)
The O Cluster fashion, design, art, and food fair is back today with the second day of its forest mini-edition. There will be twenty participating brands, six food vendors, four artists displaying their works and seven DJs spinning during the event.

Duo (Gávea)
It’s time once again for the best of house, electro, and pop as the twelve-hour Duo party returns to Gávea’s chic 00 (Zero Zero) club. DJs Babaioff and Marcello H. will start off the night by spinning on the outdoor deck and DJs Rafael Calvente, Sabrina Tomé, and Rael Barja will follow, spinning throughout the night until 5AM Monday morning.

Roda de Samba and Football with Ballet 2 Passistas (Football) (Lapa)
Sundays are all about samba and soccer at Lapa’s Leviano bar. Every week beginning at 5PM the venue plays live games on their screens with samba dancers following the matches and the group Ballet 2 playing classics of the genre, including works by Arlindo Cruz, Zeca Pagodinho and João Nogueira, among others. Additionally, DJ Mukato will spin during show intervals.

Rogê (Lapa)
It’s time to dance as singer-songwriter Rogê returns for his weekly show at Lapa’s Carioca de Gema. The lively performer will present his own compositions as well as covers of works by Jorge, Djavan, and Jorge Benjor, among others.

Arpex Party (Ipanema)
The Arpex Party returns to Barzin Bar and Restaurant in Ipanema tonight with DJ Daniel Faria spinning funk, house, hip hop and reggaeton and Marcelo Cebukin performing live. Additionally caipivodkas will be free until 12AM.

OMG Lounge (Leblon)
Opened in March, the OMG Lounge has been attracting both locals and tourists alike. In addition to offering an intimate atmosphere and new varieties of food and drinks, the venue is hosting events on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Tonight a DJ will spin live.

Shenanigan’s (Ipanema)
With classic pub games like darts and pool, Ipanema’s Shenanigan’s is always a great spot to visit. Every Sunday, promotions include two for one Sol beer, caipirinha and caipivodka. Pizza Pub is also only R$10.
