Feira de Vinil do Rio de JaneiroSunday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – The popular Feira de Vinil do Rio de Janeiro (Rio de Janeiro Vinyl Fair) returns for its 13th edition today.

Taking place from 1PM to 7PM at Shopping Downtown in Barra da Tijuca, the fair will host vendors of record players, accessories, CDs, t-shirts, and, of course, LPs and EPs.

Featured exhibitors from around Brazil will include Baratos da Ribeiro, Satisfaction Discos, Tropicalia Discos, Supernut Mara Records, and Locomotiva Discos, among others.

Additionally during the day, the band Best Friends will perform live and DJs Marcello MBgroove, Tuta Discotecario, and Gustavo Magoo will spin.

Frevotron (Centro)
Celebrating frevo, the traditional music from Pernambuco, Brazilian saxophonist Maestro Spok, multi-instrumentalist and producer Yuri Queiroga, and DJ Dolores return to CAIXA Cultural Rio de Janeiro in Centro tonight to present the third and final night of the Frevotron project.

Feira de Vinil do Rio de Janeiro (Barra da Tijuca)
From 1PM to 7PM today the Feira de Vinil do Rio de Janeiro (Rio de Janeiro Vinyl Fair) will hold its 13th edition at Shopping Downtown in Barra da Tijuca. Vendors from around Brazil will be on hand selling EPs, LPs, record players and various accessories.

Duo (Gávea)
It’s Sunday and that means it’s time to end your weekend with the best of house and electro-pop at Duo in Gávea’s 00 (Zero Zero). Tonight things will begin early, as always, at 5PM. DJs Tata Thomazini and Carol Vig will spin outside on the deck to start off the party and DJs Babi, Rafael Calvente, and Leo Gattuso will follow by spinning inside until 5AM.

Sambinha RJ ( Glória)
The Sambinha RJ party returns to Espaço Bella Vista tonight with Grupo Firmamento joined by Felype Frazão performing live and DJs Max Trivela, Alex Lopes, and Caslu spinning during the night. Additionally, there will be an open bar for women until 9PM and a promotion on Stella Artois until 12AM.

MÚSICA BRASILEIRA:

Roda de Samba and Soccer (Football) (Lapa)
Sundays are all about samba and soccer at Lapa’s Leviano bar. Every week beginning at 5PM the venue streams live games on their screens with samba dancers following the matches and the group Samba Di Buteco playing classics of the genre, including works by Arlindo Cruz, Zeca Pagodinho and João Nogueira, among others. DJ Mukato will also spin during the night.

Domênica @ Saloon 79 (Botafogo)
Tonight Saloon 79 in Botafogo will host Domingão! with bands Umporémdois, Mango, and The Highjack performing live and DJs Ivan Cascon and Larissa Conforto spinning during the night. Entry includes a Jefferéy Niña beer.

Shenanigan’s Live Music (Ipanema)
With classic pub games like darts and pool, Ipanema’s Shenanigan’s is always a great spot to visit. Every Sunday, promotions include two for one Sol beer, caipirinha and caipivodka. Pizza Pub is also only R$10.

Bar Urca (Urca)
