Thursday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Tonight The Rio Times proudly present its 6-Year Anniversary Party. The event will take place at an Ipanema penthouse location, provided by generous party partner and co-host Rio Exclusive.
During the event, live music will be provided by The Rio Times’s long-time friend, Rio-based DJ and music producer Mary Byker.
Hors d’oeuvres will be provided courtesy of partner Rashmy’s Kitchen and cachaça drinks will be provided courtesy of partner Leblon Cachaça.
If you were not already added to the pre-payment Official List, entrance is R$30 (cash only) as capacity allows.
Dress code for the night is black and white colors.

Tonight The Rio Times will celebrate its sixth anniversary with a party held at a penthouse provided by co-host Rio Exclusive. Comuna in Botafogo will host the Wine Not gathering. Tonight marks the first night of happy hour events that will take place through April 2nd. Held in a small gallery, there will be white and red wines for R$14 for the first glass and R$11 for each following glass. The Comuna kitchen will also offer special recipes during the event including sandwhiches, snacks, vegan specialties, and desserts.

Tonight at 8:30PM, JP Silva will start things off at Carioca da Gema with the best of samba. Then, composer and singer Toninho Geraes will follow at 10:30PM. Geraes has composed for artists including Martinho da Vila and Zeca Pagodinho and during his show tonight, he will sing their hits, as well as his own compositions. Additionally, he will reinterpret the works of Moacyr Luz, Paulinho da Viola, and Chico Buarque, among others.
