feelleblonTuesday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – On Tuesday nights, The Feel Leblon parties are quickly gaining popularity in Rio.

Held at Sette Leblon bar and lounge every week, the party features all you can drink caipirinhas until midnight and two for one beers all night long.

Uruguayan DJ and producer Guga Fernandez keeps the night going until 4AM as he and special guest DJs deliver the best of pop, house, reggaeton, hip-hop and more.

It’s time for the best of alternative rock at Botafogo’s Casa da Matriz tonight as band will perform live for this week’s Matriz Live Sessions.

Bem Brasil – The Rio Hostels Party (Gávea)
The Bem Brasil party is back at 00 in Gávea tonight and is offering free caipirinhas until midnight. Also during the event, DJ Haron Dufau will spin the best of Latin rhythms, reggaeton, cumbia, kuduro and hip hop and the group Bom Batuque will perform live samba. This weekly party is a great opportunity to mix and mingle in one of the chicest venues in Rio.

Feel Leblon (Leblon)

Tuesday nights are all about blues at Ipanema’s Barzin. The venue, with its sophisticated atmosphere, great service and variety of drinks, is the perfect place to enjoy some great live blues.

Tonight Carioca da Gema, will host Ensaio do Bloco Carioca da Gema 2015 with this week’s special guests Julio Estrela and Marina Iris. Marcos Novatto will perform live at 8PM to start the night.

Dayse do Banjo and Nó na Madeira (Centro)
Tonight the group Nó na Madeira will start things off at Centro’s Rio Scenarium at 7:30PM with the best of samba and singer-songerwriter Dayse do Banjo will follow, performing more of the best of samba live beginning at 10:30PM.

Language Exchange – Lapa Irish Pub (Lapa) Tonight at Lapa Irish Pub, it’s time again for the Portuguese/English language exchange. Set up like speed dating, native English speakers will be paired with native Portuguese speaker at tables. The pairs will then speak English for five minutes followed by Portuguese for five minutes. After those ten minutes, each speaker will move on to a new table and conversation partner. It’s both a fun and an educational night. The R$10 entrance cost includes free food and usually bands and artists provide live entertainment following the Language Exchange.

Lord Jim’s Pub is the oldest pub in Rio and is well known for its live music and promotional specials. During Happy Hours (6PM to 8PM) on Mondays through Fridays, the pub offers two for one draft beer. This is also a great place to watch live sports.

Shenanigan’s Live Music (Ipanema) With live music and classic pub games like darts and pool, Ipanema’s Shenanigan’s is always a great spot to visit. Happy Hour is dose dupla (two for one) on Mondays through Fridays 6PM-8PM. Additionally, tacos are half-price on Tuesdays. This is another great place to watch live streaming sports.
