Wednesday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – It’s Christmas Eve, a night when most Brazilians will celebrate Christmas at home with family and friends. Many stores and restaurants will close early. Many clubs will not open at all tonight.
However, there are exceptions. Botafogo’s Casa da Matriz will host the Jingle Bell Rock party to welcome in the holiday tonight.
DJs Wagner Fester, Rodrigues, and Julia Argentin will spin the best of indie, alternative, metal, and pop and sparkling wine will be two for one all night.

The posh Lagoa venue Miroir will also be open tonight as the venue hosts the Festa De Natal (Christmas Party). The Miroir team will spin the best of EDM and house to celebrate the holiday.

Jingle Bell Rock (Botafogo)
Botafogo’s Casa da Matriz celebrates Christmas Eve and welcomes Christmas Day with the Jingle Bell Rock party. It will be all about indie, alternative, metal, and pop as DJs Wagner Fester, Rodrigues, and Julia Argentin spin throughout the night. Additionally sparkling wine will be two for one all night.
