Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Get ready for the best of Brazilian music from multiple genres as Botafogo’s Casa da Matriz hosts the Made in Brazil! party tonight.
DJs Arlei Hey Hey, Bruno Mozka, Thiago Burgos and Matheus Marins will spin the best of well known and loved modern Brazilian tunes, including songs by Los Hermanos, Charlie Brown Jr, Legião Urbana, Cazuza, Raimundos, Pitty, O Rappa, Skank, Mamonas Assassinas, Cazuza, Titãs, Nando Reis, Nação Zumbi, Blitz and many others.
Promotions will inclue welcome cachaça shots for the first one hundred party-goers to arrive and two for one capirinhas until 2AM for all. There will also be free Brazilian themed gifts distributed througout the night.

Tonight the fourth edition of the Sonoridades festival will continue at Oi Futuro Ipanema with guitarist Pedro Baby perfomring live. For the performance Pedro Baby will be joined by his father, guitarist Pepeu Gomes, along with bassist Dadi and drummer Jorginho.

Arctic Monkeys (Barra da Tijuca)
The British indie rock band, Arctic Monkeys will perform for the first time ever in Rio de Janeiro tonight at HSBC Arena. On tour in support of their most recent release entitled, AM, tonight’s sold-out show in Rio and the band’s previous show in São Paulo on the 14th, mark the first-ever Arctic Monkeys performances in Brazil.
