Wednesday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Tonight the popular In.box party returns to Copacabna’s Fosfobox with DJs spinning the best of hip-hop, house, funk, and Latin rhythms throughout the night.
DJ Bruno Lima will start things off by spinning classic house at the fosfobar. Then beginning at midnight, DJ Haron Dufau will spin the best of hip-hop below in Fosfobox’s subsolo (basement).
From 10PM-12AM, the In.box Happy hour features all you can drink caipifrutas and beers are also two for one after midnight.

Curta Cinema 2014
Today marks the final day of the Curta Cinema 2014 festvial. The festival has featured free screenings of over 250 short films from 31 countries. For closing night, the film “Remedial Class” will screen at Cine Estação Botafogo’s first theater at 9PM. Before that, the films “Shadow,” “Fish,” “Al-Kora,” “A Delusion of Grandeur,” and “The Lady That Wouldn’t Stop Drinking Passion Fruit Juice” will screen again in Cine Estação Botafogo’s second theater beginning at 4PM.

Mulato Velho e Beatriz Farias and Daniela Spielmann Trio (Centro)
At 7:30PM saxophonist Daniela Spielmann returns to Rio Scenarium with her trio (guitarist Bilinho Teixeira and percussionist Xande Figueiredo) to perform the best of frevo, maracatu, samba, bossa nova and jazz.
