Friday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Tonight the Cave club in Copacabana presents a special edition of the popular Brazilian Wax party with eight DJs spinning in celebration of Marcela Moura’s birthday.
Moura is a producer who has worked in the industry for over ten years and who recently became a memeber of the Rio Me parties.
During the night, DJs Fernando Amaral, Rogério Pessoa, Rafa Canholato, DJ MEME, EAT_ME, Pedro Piu, Ananda Nobre, and Renato Bastos will take to the decks to keep the party going. Additionally, Brainstorm VJs will provide visuals throughout the night.

At 8PM, the band Cartola de Noel will get things started again tonight at Rio Scenarium with a performance of authentic samba. The group Toque de Arte will follow at 11PM with their mix of the best of traditional and modern samba. Finally beginning at 2:30 AM, the group Maria Filó will play some of the best forró you can hear any in the city tonight. Their show will include thier reinterpreatations of the works Luiz Gonzaga, Marinês, Dominguinhos and Sivuca, among others.
