Thursday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Tonight for the fourth edition of its tenth season, Festival Multiplicidade presents the Jakob Bro Trio, Taragana Pyjarama and Dmtr.org live at Oi Futuro Flamengo.
Beginning at 7PM in the venue’s theater, Danish guitarist Jakob Bro will perform live experimental jazz in a trio that includes musicians; AC on bass and Jakob Høyer on drums.
Bro, whose most recent album is entitled, December Songs, is an awarded-winning musician that has toured extensively internationally, including three previous tours in Brazil.
Beginning at 8PM, Danish electronic musician Nick Eriksen, better known by his moniker Taragana Pyjarama, will peform live in the outside area of Oi Futuro Flamengo.
During both performances, Brazilian visual artist Dimitre Lima, also known as Dmtr.org, will present visual projections he creates by using numerical programming software to combine art and music through code.

Tonight La Passion Club in Glória will host this week’s edition of the We Love Open Bar party. DJs Ronaldo and Rodrigo Mattos will spin the best of house, hip hop, and funk and the open bar will feature Antarctica beer, vodka, Hi-fi, Blue Hawaii, Malibu, Sex on the Beach, Cuba Libre, Lagoa Azul, water and sodas until 4AM.
