Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Tonight will showcase one of the most up and coming pop stars of Brazil’s recent history, Anitta. This bombshell has been rocking packed houses and stages across the country. Tonight she will perform at Vivo Rio in Flamengo, the main attraction for the event titled, Poderosas, which loosely translates to “powerful.”
From a young age, Anitta had a great affinity for music. At the age of sixteen, one of her cover videos was discovered online, and she was offered the chance of a lifetime. Today at the young age of only twenty, the singer has top hits such as, “I’ll Stay” and “Gentle and Abused,” which was made into a music video, directed by Blake Farber, who also worked with international star Beyonce. If you have not seen Anitta take the stage, then you are in for a treat tonight.
