Thursday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – After two years in the making, the newest underground venue is finally ready to open its doors. Brought to you by Fosfobox co-owner Cabbet Araujo and Marcus “KusKus” Salomão, this brand new multilevel venue rests in the heart of Centro.

The new space will host a three day party, bringing together all the top DJs and musicians from Rio de Janeiro to get together over drinks, music and dancing to exchange ideas and begin to build new projects that this incredible space can host. Beginning on Wednesday night, and continuing on till Thursday, expect to see all the regulars as well as new faces. Remember, you need to add your name on the event page for free entrance.

The Breeders (Lapa)
The Breeders are an American alternative rock band formed in 1990 by Kim Deal of the Pixies and Tanya Donelly of Throwing Muses. Their first album, Pod, though not commercially successful, received wide critical acclaim. The Breeders’ most successful album, 1993′s Last Splash, is best known for the hit single “Cannonball”.

Arpex Party (Ipanema)
Arpex returns for their Thursday night weekly dominance, with DJ Bruno Lima playing top hits of house, world music, funk and reggaeton. La Paz Club – Inauguração (Botafogo)
Centro should be proud to be home to the newest underground sensation in Rio, as La Paz Club opens their door this week. From the owners of Fosfobox, this new multilevel venue will play host to a variety of DJs and live bands. This week, there are three days of parties to christen the club properly.
