Wednesday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Galeria Café is playing host to a very special event tonight in Ipanema. Tonight will begin with the CD release party of Vivi Seixas’s new album Geração da Luz on Warner Records. This CD is a collection of edits of Vivi’s legendary rock star father, Raul Seixas. The album is a culmination of ten classic tracks, re-worked and updated into modern styles, including trip hop, blues, drum and bass and much more. Tonight will celebrate the official release and play host to a who’s who of special invites.

Although the cocktail lounge is closed to the public, the night doesn’t end there. Come at 11 o’clock, when the doors will open and kick off the night with the ever popular X-Tudo, featuring resident DJ Dudu Candelot and DJ Rody.
