Azul Airlines announces direct flight Curitiba-Montevideo

Azul announced that starting in the second half of this year, it will fly from Curitiba, state of Paraná, Brazil, to Montevideo, Uruguay.

The new flight will be performed thrice a week and operated with Embraer E2 aircraft, which can carry up to 136 passengers.

Sales are expected to begin in June, the month in which the company will also reveal information such as the days on which flights will take place times and date of the inaugural flight.

“We are very happy with this inauguration because it shows the strong relationship we are building with the southern region, especially with the state of Paraná.”

The announcement of the new route occurred during Paraná Day, an event held in Lisbon, which brought together Portuguese and Paraná authorities and airline executives.
