RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The dispute for the fastest delivery time to customers' homes gained a new dimension on Monday, July 19. Americanas launched its own delivery platform: Americanas Delivery app, which guarantees grocery and restaurant deliveries in up to half an hour. The tool can now be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play Store.

Americanas Delivery works as a mini app within the retailer's main application; a strategy to leverage the 4.6 billion annual visits to the platform, with a base of 48 million active customers.
