RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The Federal Audit Court (TCU) has concluded the approval to auction broadband frequencies for the 5G technology, the minister of communications, Fábio Faria, said on Twitter on Wednesday (25).
"The public bid notice goes to Anatel to be published," Faria added. In an interview with "Voz do Brasil", Faria confirmed that the auction will take place in October.
Last week, the TCU had examined the public notice, obtaining a majority that followed the vote of the rapporteur, Raimundo Carreiro, in favor of approval. However, one of the ministers asked to review the process.
