The traditional New Year's Eve party will return to be held at Avenida Paulista this New Year's Eve, according to a statement by the Mayor of São Paulo, Ricardo Nunes, to Folha de São Paulo.
The celebration had not been held for two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The program is still being confirmed by the Municipal Secretariat of Culture and should be released soon.
The recent increase in the number of cases of coronavirus infection, for the time being, should not hinder the celebrations.
