São Paulo Now Counts Six Times as Many Coronavirus Deaths as China Each Day

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - On Sunday, March 29th, the State of São Paulo recorded 98 deaths related to the Covid-19. There are now 1,451 confirmed cases of the disease in the state.

According to the balance made by the Health Department, an average of 7.5 people are dying per day since the first death was recorded, on March 17th. In a similar 13-day interval, China reported a daily average of 1.3 deaths, according to the government survey.
