Cemetery in São Paulo Shows Harsh Reality of Deaths by Covid-19

SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL - The city of São Paulo is one of the most critical points of the coronavirus pandemic in Brazil, with dozens of people dying every day in what is the largest city in Brazil.

Given the large increase in deaths by Covid-19, the Vila Formosa cemetery in São Paulo, one of the largest in South America, has started digging additional graves, having seen a 30 percent increase in the number of funerals.

Images released by Reuters show gravediggers opening dozens of graves in rows to cope with the increase in the number of deaths . . .
